Move over pumpkin spice lattes and flannel, it’s Cabin Country season and you don’t want to miss a second of the arboreal action. The leaves are changing, so we think a change of scenery is due. So pack up the car, book your cabin and head to one of the prettiest places to spend some time this fall.
And we’re here to help you make the most of your trip with some tips for the best fall vacation Southeastern Oklahoma has to offer.
Autumn events? Awesome.
Who says Beavers Bend is just a summer destination? There’s more to do here in the fall than you can shake a stick at (even if that stick has a few less leaves on it.) Whatever your reason for coming to Cabin Country, whether it’s the outdoor fun or to recharge your batteries inside, make sure you make your way into town for a bit. You just might find yourself stumbling on a festival or farmers’ market.
But if you’re a planner, you can always look ahead and time it out just peachy (or…pumpkiny.)
Spice things up.
When we told pumpkin spice lattes to move over…we didn’t really mean it. It wouldn’t be autumn without them, and if they’re your cup of tea (or coffee,) you’re in luck. Make sure you check out any of the fall-tastic coffee shops around town and try them all.
And if you’re still thirsty after that, you’re sure to find a seasonal beer or two at any of Beavers Bend Cabin Country’s local breweries.
